I can't remember exactly but I read one hand is your past and the other is your future. I think the left one is the past. That's all I know though. Sorry! I'll guess that if one line on the left is long and split into three branches and it's your past, do you have a deep-rooted past that affects you today? If the life line on the right hand is cut 1/3 of the way, maybe you'll have a short life or maybe you have more to experience? Just guessing.
